What Freedom is has been discussed for much of human history. There always has been, and likely always will be, much debate as to what freedom means, and how best to attain it. To be sure, when diving into literature about freedom, one comes across an array of political philosophies that grapple with human freedom, and how to advance it individually, locally, regionally, nationally, or globally. Which philosophy best advances freedom? Libertarianism? Voluntaryism? Anarcho-capitalism? Anarchism? Minarchism? Federalism? Constitutionalism?

 

Here at Agents For Freedom, we believe that at a minimum freedom should encapsulate the spirit and intent of the words enshrined in the Bill of Rights of the Constitution of the United States. Therefore, at Agents For Freedom, we believe the following to be true:

 

 

Under no circumstance should the federal government infringe upon freedom of religion.

 

Under no circumstance should the federal government censor or infringe upon freedom of speech.

 

Under no circumstance should the federal government infringe upon freedom of the press.

 

Under no circumstance should the federal government infringe upon the right to peaceably assemble.

 

Under no circumstance should the federal government infringe upon the right to keep and bear arms.

 

Under no circumstance should the federal government spy or surveil the American population.

 

Under no circumstance should the federal government detain somebody without bringing charges.

 

Under no circumstance should the federal government infringe upon the right to speak with an attorney.

 

Under no circumstance should the federal government infringe upon the right to a speedy and public trial by an impartial jury.

 

Under no circumstance should the federal government inflict cruel and unusual punishment.

 

Under no circumstance should the federal government claim or assume power and authority that is not explicitly delegated to it by the Constitution of the United States.
